Created by French artists collective Groupe LAPS, KEYFRAMES uses LED lights tubes to create multiple static stick figures that, when paired with a soundtrack, flash on and off in a choreographed display to imitate movement.
KEYFRAMES has previously exhibited in Singapore, Jerusalem, France, Spain and the Netherlands, and debuted in the UK in Durham at the 2013 Lumiere Festival. The free exhibition in St Andrew Square marks KEYFRAMES Scotland debut and will give the public the opportunity to experience the architecture and environment of St Andrew Square in a different light.
The 80 light sculptures take over St Andrew Square Garden illuminated in sequence to an original musical composition. They are installed around the square to create an immersive environment and will allow the public to wander through the space.
