The award winning Celebration of the Centuries returns to Fort George in 2014-Saturday 9th & Sunday 10 August 11am-5pm
Set in one of the finest military fortifications in Europe, the flagship event of Historic Scotland’s event calendar celebrates over two thousand years of history. Once again the Fort came to life as over two hundred and fifty performers depict centuries of history from Picts and Romans, through Viking, Medieval, Renaissance, Reformation and Jacobite periods to World War I and II.
