The Lord Provost hosted a reception for the presentation of the Legion d'Honneur medals to five WWII veterans, including Edinburgh Award winner Tom Gilzean.

The French Consul General, Emmanuel Cocher, presented the Chevalier de la Legion d’Honneur medals, Frances highest National Order, to five Scottish veterans.
